MONTBRIÓ DEL CAMP, A VILLAGE TO DISCOVER
The small village of Montbrió del Camp, with some 3000 inhabitants, belongs to the Baix Camp region, located in the Province of Tarragona. At an altitude of 130 meters, 6 km from the Mediterranean and 5 km from the mountains, it has a privileged situation that gives it a unique character.
Montbrió del Camp has a long history, which is clearly visible in the streets of the old center of today’s village.
Still intact is the the medieval structure with the central square “Plaza de la Vila” and the set of houses and alleys that surround the square.
In the old town there are also three religious buildings that with an interesting heritage: The Church of Carme, the Parish of Sant Pere and the Cloister of Sant Antoni.
Agricultural town with its DO Siurana oil and Moscatell Wine
Montbrió del Camp is an agricultural village. Its produces various agricultural products. The main crops are olives, grapes, almonds and vegetables.
The arbequina olives of the region provide an olive oil of excellent quality, inernationally awarded.
The village also produces the unique “Moscatell of Montbrió” wine, a sweet liqueur wine that accompanies desserts and dried fruit. Prestigious within the DO Tarragona.
You can visit the Agricultural Cooperative that sells olive oil and the delicious Moscatell wine, as well as other high-quality local products.
Village of hot springs.
Montbrió has a long thermal baths history, that dates back to Roman times. Currently, there is one active thermal bath in Hotel Termes-Montbrió, open to the public. The Hotel has a beautiful romantic garden “the Horta Florida” open to the public as well.

Montbrió del Camp is a municipality with many sundials, more than a dozen historical and contemporary pieces, which show that the Gnomonic heritage is well alive in the town.
Montbriart, the art and the artists
An artistic event of the first order that takes place on the first Saturday and Sunday of September. Visitors walk through the streets of the village, enjoying a variety of local art show by its artists in the various historic building.
